In 1900, Michelin experienced its greatest marketing idea by offering a gastronomical guide to its customers: the famous "Red Guide." While the roads are being developed and the cars are becoming popular, this strategy incites to travel by car and thus to use the tires. The Guide becomes the reference in gastronomy critic and the Stars it distributes become every chefs' life dream.

The 30 plates of the project FRANCE are a tribute to these two worlds. By juxtaposing them, they reveal a map of the Michelin-starred restaurants and roads of France.
